Just being able to see these videos at all is a treat. True, Quicktime downloads would be nice, but they're not necessary.

However, artists should understand that simply by making their work available to the public internet, their work is inherently downloadable. That's simply how the internet works. Browsers download and cache both Flash and Quicktime movies, and savvy users can simply copy movies they've watched out of their cache. Sites like keepvid.com merely provide an easier alternative.

If you type in the youtube address of the video you want onto http://keepvid.com/ and then hit "download" the majority of the time you can download it as a quicktime, sometimes you have to refresh several times. And smaller more compressed youtube videos can only be downloaded as .flv files. Hope that helps!!!

hey there it doesn't need to be downloadable. I think you can upload the files as quicktimes without the option to download. not sure how, a quick google will answer that though

if not, there are other ways of getting the files. it's just incredibly tedious considering all people want to do is frame by frame :(
